With a culinary career that spans nearly 30 years and a fair share of time in the kitchens of the most distinguished five-star hotels, Chef Simon Tho is a master of both Chinese and Asian cuisines, and he has an impressive number of awards to testify to that. Among these accolades are “Star Chef of the Year 2015” presented by The International Exchange Association of Renowned Chinese Cuisine and “Best Chef Medal” in the 2014 FHC China International Culinary Arts Competition for his dish “Stir-fried Spotted Grouper with Sea Urchin”. He has been a member and judge of The World Association Chefs Societies since 2016. On top of his in-depth knowledge and boundless creativity, Chef’s love for Chinese literature also comes through in his creations which are often inspired by the classics. Under his leadership, the Galaxy Macau Chinese culinary team has obtained a number of international awards and recognitions.
