Galaxy Macau Presents Guest Chef Dinners of Autumn Flavors

(Hong Kong and Macau, 24 October 2018) ─ Visit Galaxy Macau™, The Dining Destination in Asia, this season for four exclusive, limited-time-only culinary experiences. The exceptional line-up includes a Game & Wild Mushroom Dinner inspired by the finest flavors of autumn; an authentic French Set Menu bringing fine continental cooking to Macau; a White Truffle Dinner highlighting the most prestigious ingredient of the season; and a Mediterranean Dinner from a legendary Barcelona chef.

Game & Wild Mushrooms Dinner at Terrazza Italian Restaurant

Excite and indulge the senses with an exceptional menu of autumn-inspired dishes featuring some of the world’s finest wild game crafted by Guest Chef Massimiliano Musso from Michelin-starred Ristorante Albergo Ca’ Vittoria in Italy in collaboration with Chef Richard Stuart, Assistant Vice President of International Culinary, Galaxy Macau.

The “Four Hands Game & Wild Mushrooms Wine Dinner Menu” will be served at Terrazza Italian Restaurant on 29 October, for one night only. Each dish is crafted with some of the world’s finest wild game, including wild boar, wood pigeon, pheasant and highland red deer stag. Wild mushrooms and seasonal produce beautifully harmonize with the hearty flavors. Sample dishes include Shoulder of Wild Boar Pit Smoked over Apple Wood served with Pearl Barley, Blood Sausage, Cobnuts, Bramley, Vintage Cider and Breast of Wood Pigeon with Jerusalem Artichokes, Velvet Pioppini Mushrooms, Piedmont Truffle.

On 30 October, Chef Massimiliano Musso will showcase his specially prepared menu at Glasshouse.

French Set Menu at Café de Paris Monte-Carlo

The first Café de Paris Monte-Carlo in Asia presents an authentic French set menu from Chef David Rathgeber, on 4 and 5 December. An experienced French chef who has trained under the tutelage of culinary masters such as Alain Ducasse, Chef David Rathgeber is bringing his exceptional continental cuisine to Macau for two nights only.

Bombana White Truffle Dinner at 8½ Otto e Mezzo BOMBANA Macau

Highlighting the most prestigious ingredient of the season, Michelin-starred 8½ Otto e Mezzo BOMBANA Macau presents a “White Truffle Dinner” for one night only, on 7 December. The luxurious menu will be prepared in a culinary collaboration between three exceptional Italian chefs – the “King of White Truffles” Chef Umberto BOMBANA himself, along with Executive Chef of 8½ Otto e Mezzo BOMBANA in Shanghai, Chef Riccardo La Perna and Executive Chef Antimo Merone from 8½ Otto e Mezzo BOMBANA Macau. A wine pairing will accompany the menu, including an Otto e Mezzo signature seasonal cocktail with dessert.

For the single-night White Truffle Dinner at 8½ Otto e Mezzo BOMBANA Macau, the three chefs present a menu of six brand new dishes, including three selections featuring the season’s finest ingredient – white truffle from Alba: Roe Deer, Spinach, Hazelnut, “Bagna Cauda”, Alba White Truffle; Ricotta Gnocchi, Butter, Aromatic Cheese, Alba White Truffle; and Wild Turbot Cooked in Sea Salt Crust, Cardons Emulsion, Alba White Truffle.

Mediterranean Dinner at Terrazza Italian Restaurant

Introducing scrumptious Spanish flair into the continental dining experience, Barcelona Chef Aitor Olabegoya will prepare a special “Mediterranean Dinner” for two nights only, on 6 and 7 December. A wine pairing dinner menu is also available for those looking to elevate their dining experience. 

At Terrazza Italian Restaurant, Chef Aitor Olabegoya will employ a wide range of cooking techniques; from molecular gastronomy in the Molecular Olive, to traditional open-fire cooking in the Grilled Octopus, Mozzarella, Pesto Aioli and Eggplant and Grilled Wagyu Beef with Smoked Cauliflower and Beets. While the flavor combinations will reveal plenty of surprises, each dish is created with the simple aim to bring out the natural freshness of beautiful Mediterranean ingredients.
