On 14 and 15 March, Teppanyaki Shou stages a culinary encounter rarely witnessed beyond Japan—a rare meeting of minds between two masters of Japanese gastronomy. Chef Kazuo Takagi, chef-founder of two-Michelin-starred Kyo-ryori Takagi in Hyogo, will travel to Macau for a dialogue with kindred spirit Norihisa Maeda, who leads the Teppanyaki Shou team with over 35 years of mastery and quiet precision.
A revered master of Kyoto cuisine—one of the most refined and philosophical branches of Japanese gastronomy—Chef Takagi is celebrated for his composed, delicate creations that honour seasonality, restraint, and the quiet elegance of Japanese aesthetics. His cuisine reflects a lifetime of discipline and contemplation, where each dish is shaped by heritage, technique, and a profound respect for nature.
Together, Chefs Takagi and Maeda will present the poetry of the season through an extraordinary multi-course journey, where tradition evolves through dialogue and craftsmanship. Each course will reflect decades of dedication, offering guests an intimate expression of Japanese culinary artistry—where flair, finesse, and philosophy converge.
