The Artistry of Table Tennis – Collectibles & Art Exhibition

Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) has been proactively supporting, organizing, and participating in various large-scale international sports events through multi-pronged approaches.

Among its many efforts, GEG has shown significant dedication to advancing the development of table tennis in Macau. GEG has served as one of the organizers to host the “ITTF Men's and Women's World Cup Macao” at Galaxy Arena for two consecutive years; and has supported WTT tournaments in Macau for six consecutive times, with this year marking its third consecutive year as a co-organizer of “WTT Champions Macao”. Moreover, this November, GEG is also honored that the table tennis matches of the 15th National Games will be held at the Galaxy Arena.

Proudly presented by GalaxyArt at Galaxy Macau™, The Artistry of Table Tennis exhibition marks a meaningful celebration of these landmark moments for Macau. This exhibition reflects GEG’s ongoing commitment to cultural innovation and sports development, exploring both the historical legacy and the unifying power of this dynamic sport, and showcasing the distinctive allure of sports, culture and tourism integration through an artistic lens.

Exhibition Highlights：

The largest display of coloured table tennis balls: A dazzling mosaic of 7,000 colorful table tennis balls captures the intensity of a rally between two players. At its heart stands the Galaxy Arena, the stage where world-class athletes shine.

Giant Table & Paddle Installation: This vivid centerpiece conveys speed and energy through vibrant and dynamic ribbons of tape and a suspended ping pong ball. At either end, two oversized paddles—in shakehand and penhold positions respectively—symbolize the diversity of playing styles. One side bears hand-painted lettering of “Galaxy” and “Macau”, while the reverse displays colorful paddles in bold, artistic arrangements. For the best perspective, ascend to Level 1, where the paddles appear locked in a rally for victory.  

Precious Paddle Collectibles: Journey through “The Evolution of the Paddle”, from early handcrafted forms to cutting-edge modern designs. Inspired by Macau’s iconic Ruins of St. Paul’s, this zone also features “Star Player Collectibles”—rare, autographed paddles from world-class champions that every sports fan will treasure. 

More than a tribute to table tennis, this exhibition is a vibrant expression of GEG’s vision for Macau’s cultural and sporting future. Whether you are a sports enthusiast, a creative enthusiast, or a curious explorer of culture, The Artistry of Table Tennis promises moments of surprise, delight, and inspiration.
