The 2026 lunar new year celebrates the year of the horse, a symbol of boldness, ambition and an unbridled spirit of freedom. This capsule’s artworks draw on cowboy-inspired elements, a nod to Kenzo Takada’s longstanding affection for this theme, which he explored throughout the 1970’s and 1990’s.

As lucky symbols, the capsule collection highlights two key colors: red and yellow. Building on an artwork created for the FW 2007 collection, Nigo reimagines a series of symbolic motifs to celebrate the zodiac year. The graphics include an allover horse print, avintage rearing horse set against a fiery landscape, horseshoe designs to bring luck, and a golden Boke Flower motif outlined in gold.
