Galaxy Macau and StarWorld Hotel Gear Up for the Macau Grand Prix with a Host of Electrifying Experiences

 

(Macau SAR, November 7, 2023) - The 70^th Macau Grand Prix revs up at full throttle across two weekends, from November 11 to 12 and November 16 to 19, 2023. In celebration of this annual international motorsports extravaganza, Galaxy Macau™ Integrated Resort and StarWorld Hotel present an array of exciting activities in the run-up to and during the event, inviting guests to immerse themselves in the 70^th anniversary edition of the Macau Grand Prix, which will showcase both the FIA GT and Formula Three World Cups side by side on consecutive weekends in this year’s signature races.

 

Stellar Racing, Speed Challenges and Pit Lane Experiences

From now until November 19, visitors can get up close and personal with the history, glory, and innovation of the Oracle Red Bull Racing F1 team at the “ORACLE RED BULL RACING Pop-up” store located in the East Square at Galaxy Macau. Here, visitors will have the chance to engage in a variety of thrilling and realistic racing experiences. This includes the inaugural Red Bull Pit Stop Challenge in Macau, where attendees can race against the clock to change the tires of an F1 car, using authentic pit crew tools. Additionally, guests can plunge into the racing world with a simulator experience on the renowned Guia Circuit. To top it off, the experience includes reactive training exercises, akin to the daily regimen of professional racers. Participants have the opportunity to compete in a challenge to win an exclusive pack of Oracle Red Bull Racing memorabilia, tickets to the Macau Grand Prix, and passes to the Macau Grand Prix Museum, among other unique prizes.

 

Automotive enthusiasts are in for a treat, with the Crystal Lobby at Galaxy Macau set to showcase a series of limited-edition models from renowned luxury car brand Bentley, from now until November 30. The exhibit is headlined by the world's first Bacalar Car One customized by Mulliner, a bespoke masterpiece and one of just 12 cars worldwide; with an impressive valuation exceeding HK$40 million, on public display until November 9. Subsequently, the stage will be graced by the second-generation Bentley Continental GT3 race car, a marvel of automotive engineering inspired by the new Continental GT road car. The illustrious first-generation Bentley Continental GT3, a storied champion in endurance racing, has flown the flag for Bentley Motors at numerous prestigious global events, clinching a plethora of championships. This new incarnation seamlessly upholds the luxurious legacy and legendary prowess of its formidable predecessor.

 

StarWorld Hotel, located in the Macau Peninsula, has partnered with the Macau Guia Circuit Promotion and Development Association to showcase the Porsche 911 Carrera GTS series at the hotel's VIP entrance, from November 7 to 19. Making a rare appearance in Macau, the Carrera GTS, equipped with a 3.8-liter direct injection engine and 402 horsepower, features a spacious body and unique design, making it the pinnacle of the Porsche 997.2 911 series. Auto enthusiasts are invited to make a pilgrimage to the hotel’s VIP entrance to witness this remarkable vehicle.

Gastronomic Challenges: Ignite Taste Buds with Delightful Flavors

From November 9 to 19, The Macallan Whisky Bar & Lounge at Galaxy Macau and the Whisky Bar on the 16th floor of StarWorld Hotel, will introduce an array of special drinks inspired by the renowned sports drink, Red Bull, featuring highlights "Smooky Red Bull” and “Bull Rider.” Every purchase from this selection enjoys a complimentary Red Bull racing simulator experience, amplifying race-day fervor. Meanwhile, Tastes of Asia at Galaxy Macau will be offering Red Bull energy drinks until November 30th, providing racing fans with an uninterrupted energy boost. Promising to be an unmissable event for discerning foodies, cocktail connoisseurs, music fans and culture seekers, Tatler Off Menu in partnership with Galaxy Macau, brings together a highly curated ensemble of 12 award-winning culinary masters, each renowned for pushing boundaries and redefining food as an art form. From Michelin-starred trailblazers to Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants and Asia’s 50 Best Bars star talents, these gastronomic virtuosos will join forces in the kitchen, live and poolside at Cabana at The Banyan Tree at Galaxy Macau.

 

Revving up the race action throughout the Galaxy Integrated Resort, a plethora of LED screens situated both at StarWorld Hotel and Galaxy Macau, in addition to the newly inaugurated Raffles at Galaxy Macau, will feature racing footage and Grand prix themed light shows.
