As Waso Cafe celebrates its 2nd anniversary, we are excited to collaborate with Chef Qiu Yang, a contestant from the popular mainland culinary competition reality show Chef Genius, to bring one of the program’s most acclaimed creations to our menu.

Inspired by the beloved Hong Kong-style Char Siu Pastry, this innovative dessert combines a flaky, buttery pastry shell with smooth ice cream that is infused with Char Siu, creating a surprising contrast of textures and flavours. The result is a playful reinterpretation of a classic Hong Kong favourite that is both nostalgic and refreshingly unexpected.
