The all-new Aquatainment Island has made its grand debut this summer. Alongside Splash Cove, the resort’s existing kids’ aquatic zone, this new addition cements Galaxy Macau as host to Macau’s largest and most comprehensive outdoor aquatic playground for children.

Nestled within the Grand Resort Deck—Macau’s No.1 water attraction—this dynamic facility expands upon the resort’s highly successful Edutainment Center.

The opening of the Aquatainment Island marks a natural evolution, effortlessly extending the Galaxy Kidz philosophy from indoor exploration to immersive outdoor aqua-adventures, exclusively for Galaxy Macau hotel guests.

Spanning an expansive 2,800 square meters, the new island features three distinct, thoughtfully designed zones tailored for toddlers up to children aged nine.

Wavey's Splash Command

A vibrant water wonderland with The Water Castle at its heart. Get drenched under our signature tipping bucket and swoop down from a height of 1.5 meters at any of the four exhilarating water slides ranging from 8.3 to 11.3 meters long.

The surrounding area packs over 20 dynamic aquatic features, including geysers, interactive soakers, water cannons, and cascading water curtains—promising endless laughter and unforgettable family moments.

Wavey’s Project Aqua

The science of water comes alive across two interactive exhibits featuring over 20 hands-on components, inspired by Galaxy Macau's iconic architecture and our beloved Wavey the Peacock.

Step into the shoes of junior engineers, and experiment with the mechanics of directing water flow and discover how water converts into energy. The journey extends into the adjacent WonderFun Pavilion, where budding innovators can test, apply, and expand upon their aquatic creations.

WonderFun Pavilion

Wavey brings the intellectual curiosity of his indoor S.T.E.A.M. lab into the fresh open air at the WonderFun Pavilion. This zone invites children to engage in hands-on outdoor learning through interactive S.T.E.A.M. experiments, nature explorations, and captivating live performances. To ensure a fresh experience with every visit, a rotating lineup of curated workshops and experiences run across seven daily sessions from 11:00am to 6:45pm.
