Nature in its myriad forms takes centre stage in the latest Prada experience, encompassing various landscapes and the changing of the seasons.
A picnic on the lawn, games on the sand, the cool shade of the trees, and the gleam of the sun on an alpine lodge. These experiences are celebrated in Prada Outdoor, a series of pop up stores and in-store installations dedicated to the emotions conveyed by different settings – Garden, Coast and Mountain – containing a selection of original products recalling each particular environment.
A luxurious trekking camp surrounded by an expanse of green, a place for relaxing and planning new adventures on paths not yet traversed, for taking in the view and its myriad colours and for setting off on hikes: the new Prada Outdoor pop-up store, set to appear at Galaxy Macau, is dedicated to the authenticity of the mountains and the opportunities they provide for sport. An exclusive themed collection for men and women is displayed against the backdrop of this captivating environment, with spaces for socialising, relaxation areas and elements recalling alpine scenery.
The women’s cotton garments are practical and contemporary, inspired by technical clothing and enhanced with sporty details like pockets, waxed zips, elastic drawstrings and contrasting splashes of colour. Ultra-functional details reinvent the feminine style of the check print Re-Nylon dress with metal buckles, which takes its inspiration from a multifunctional vest. The knitwear is made from recycled melange mouliné yarn: the turtleneck top, leggings, new cycling models and crop top are paired with original gabardine Re-Nylon vests with a backpack-inspired design. The nylon raincoats are extremely lightweight, high-performance and versatile, with elastic threads to vary the volumes, while unlined and padded jackets are available in various bright hues.
The men’s garments have a casual and contemporary feel, with a nod to military themes and work uniforms. Natural cottons and technical fabrics make up blousons, multi-pocket vests and dungarees that transform into bermuda shorts. The raincoats, pea coats and capes showcase a more high-tech lightweight black nylon. Practical designs give a new lease of life to hooded jackets and t-shirts with nylon details.
The highlights of the mountain-themed accessories are padded backpacks with a tartan print, nylon details and integrated hood, as well as shopping bags, single-shoulder backpacks, belt bags and bucket hats. Nylon also dominates the quilted blankets and hammocks. Yoga sets and sporty mirrored glasses round off the collection. Please come to explore and enjoy the shopping experience with symbolic mountain scenes.
