This work of art is created in collaboration with the Foshan Folk Art Research Institute, bringing to life a poetic scene from a famous Song Dynasty poem by Xin Qiji where “dancing fish” adds to the enchantment of the Lantern Festival. The flowing tails and fins in dazzling colors perfectly capture the fluidity of the gold fish’s movements as they emerge from a pond of lotus flowers, the symbol of Macau.
