Japanese fine-dining and vibrant Thai flavors converge at Yamazato’s latest extravaganza jointly presented by the restaurant’s new Executive Chef and Saffron’s award-winning chef, complemented by our sommelier’s selection of sake from the globally acclaimed brewer Dassai.
Hailing from The Okura Tokyo, Chef Hayashi Hideaki brings with him nearly 40 years of culinary expertise. Through his collaboration with Thai Chef Jan Ruangnukulkit, the rich culinary traditions of the two cultures come vividly to life. From Japanese seafood and fruits of the season, to bright and refreshing Thai herbs and spices, all the flavors are meticulously curated to delight and fascinate.
Yamazato Manager, Marco Chan, the only sommelier in Macau to have obtained “International Sake Lecturer” on top of “International Master Sommelier of Sake”, has handpicked five Dassai sakes to match the chefs’ creations. You are also invited to explore the brewer’s sake-making mastery at the pre-dinner workshop hosted in collaboration with Dassai.
